first effort at  using a digital capture of one of my weed paintings as an adjustment layer over
one of my instantaneous time portraits.

think this works, yet for me this feels like an illustration for a psychology today article, short story
or poem. do like the way the heavy tooth canvas translated here.

think the weeds add conceptually to this dark theme >>>>  sort of a brambles effect in addition
to the submersion theme.
effort #2

not liking it much at this moment

like it even less as a gif & with web palette

maybe crop to the upper right corner or rt side a fair amount?
timescan images used below weed or abstract paintings as a departure point for combining
paintings with digital images.
like this better than the last one>>>>yet not sure how i feel about it yet.
may be interesting to crop it in to the lower left (fingers)

will just keep churning these combos out a little longer to see if it branches in a new direction.

want to work with different images too.

no matter what they are creepy & i do not think they retain the instananeous time thesis of the
bw portraits at all. they don't have to i guess.

they do merge one of my paintings with my digital work.
think this has a sort of  primal quality

one thing to keep in mind is that the full rez images have a broader range of color & surface
texture from the paintings that bring more to the image than you can see here.
